Accessibility
BWH promotes tourism that is accessible to all by improving the services dedicated to people with motor and sensory disabilities.
The support and advice from partners such as Cityfriend allow us to adequately respond to our clients and their families in order to offer them a comfortable and safe stay.
Inclusivity
An inclusive hospitality means being available to each guest and understanding the needs of each person. In BWH hospitality is a synonym of inclusion to make everyone feel welcomed with their uniqueness.
Thanks to the advice and experience of “L’Abilità Onlus” we have trained the staff of our hotels in order to offer an adequate support to clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), their families and caregivers.

People are our top priority at BWH. We provide the same opportunities to all our employees, notwithstanding their sexual orientation, origin and religious beliefs, by creating a workplace where everyone is respected
LGBTQ+
BWH Hotels Italia supports equality and non-discrimination on the basis of gender identity and sexual orientation. Our BWH Hotels Italy team and the teams of our hotels participated in the Sonders&Beach training, in order to ensure we are increasingly inclusive to our LGBTQ+ guests.
The Group continues to affirm its commitment alongside ELTA, the European LGBTQ+ Travel Alliance, with awareness campaigns on the topic of LGBTQ+ inclusion so that the hospitality sector becomes an example of openness towards diversity and integration.
Welfare
We adopt a welfare policy for the wellbeing of our staff with the aim of ensuring a balance between professional and private life.
In particular, the headquarters in Milan has established an internal commission called BeWe, whose objective is to implement projects aiming at maintaining a serene workplace. This initiative includes access to part-time contracts, the use of remote working and being granted extra hours of leave for medical check-ups.
Community
The employees and guests alike of BWH Hotels Italy are involved first-hand in initiatives dedicated to non-profit organisations and to solidarity and inclusion projects.
This contribution is materialised with active participation and donations to the projects of organisations such as: L’Abilità onlus, Fondazione G. e D. De Marchi, LILT, Mamma Anna Trust, Soggiorno Sereno, We World and Fondazione ANT Italia Onlus.
Support during Covid-19
During the COVID-19 pandemic BWH supported their staff, hotels and local communities with a number of actions: these included employee insurance, the starting of a Special Protection programme to ensure a safe stay to our clients, an emergency management plan, and a plan for the reopening of our hotels as well as different charitable activities among which “Grazie di cuore” (Thanks from our heart), devoted to healthcare professionals of the Giovanni XXIII Hospital in Bergamo.
